However, lack of technical know-how on how to start and run an organic farm profitably hinders many from taking advantage of the opportunities within the organic food industry.
This Organic Farming Masterclass will walk you through step-by-step techniques and guidelines to effectively start and manage a profitable and successful organic farm business. You will be guided on what you need to know and do to setup and organic farm, how to develop soil fertility plan, pest management protocols, assess customer needs, develop marketing plans, produce organic inputs (e.g. compost), and how to grow an organic farm into a sustainable business.

How do you explain your organic farm business concept in less than 60 seconds to someone who knows next to nothing about agriculture?

The module describes the general approach of organic farming to pest, disease and weed management, and presents the different tools to manage pests, diseases and weeds in crops and in storage.
You will learn how to recognize, identify, manage and prevent crop stressors like pests, insects, and weeds.
One of the outcomes of this module is the development of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan for your farm.

In this module, you will learn organic farm record-keeping tactics, requirements, and legal process to complete an organic certification application and become a certified organic farm.
The module will also explain the key challenges related to conversion to organic farming.
A major outcome of this module is the development of Organic System Plan for your organic farm operations.

The Organic Farming Masterclass is designed for those that want to start or run organic farm profitably. We screen potential members to identify people that answers yes to any of the question under the "who should enroll?" section above.
While we do not restrict applications by geographic location, we do expect all members to be fluent in English. Your time and money are valuable, and we never want to waste either by over-promising anything that we cannot provide.
The Organic Farming Masterclass is unlikely to be a good investment for you if you are in search of quick hacks and tips.
Establishing a profitable organic farm takes hard work and ongoing effort. We offer proven frameworks and long-term strategies - not shortcuts.
Our cohort-based Programs are intense. You get out what you put in. We compressed decades of professional experience into streamlined 8 week part-time experiences. To get the most out of the program, you should expect to spend a minimum of 5 hours per week on program material and event attendance. Our most successful participants spend 8-10 hours per week.
This cohort is entirely online. You can attend from anywhere in the world. Times and day of the week of live sessions will be part of the information you receive when the admission decision is communicated with you. All events are recorded and uploaded to your program materials.
A one time payment costs $179. There is an option to pay two installments of $99 or three installments of $79.
