Our Strategy

Engaging rural youth in agribusiness has become an important strategy to create employment opportunities in Africa. To this end, governments and development partners have implemented various interventions that facilitate youth engagement in agribusiness for several years. The Agribusiness Masterclass has been designed to solve this problem. The masterclass will be divided into three in-depth segments.

The Online Course

They are initially exposed to a comprehensive online course that give participants the opportunity to acquire the requisite knowledge on agribusiness entrepreneurship with specialization in organic farming practices, principles and philosophy.

The Hands-on Training Program

Participants will learn about nursery set-up, irrigation system, mulching, pest management, fertility management, harvesting and cultural farming practices.

Internship

These internships will provide the student with both close guidance and mentorship while encouraging independence and freedom to make their own decisions as they move towards becoming skilled organic farm owners.
